Classic vintage French "tourchon" or tea-towel, made from rustic style linen and traditionally embroidered in red thread with the initials "CD".
The towels are generously over-sized (twice the size of a normal modern tea towel) measuring approx 55 x 95cm. These lovely linens are big enough to be re-made into cushion covers, shopping bags or smaller napkins.
Excellent vintage condition.
